Dirac ConsultingMassive Dynamic commissioning platform

Massive Dynamic · Field commissioning

Built for the people doing the testing.

Checklists, documents, issues and sign-off live on the same model as the schedule. What an engineer records on site is the status everyone else sees, with no re-keying.

Workflow

From layout to signed evidence

  1. Model the plant

Draw assets, rooms and connections, or generate a starting layout with one click in Dirac.

  2. Checklists appear

Each of 109 equipment types brings its own checklists and documentation requirements, editable per project.

  3. Test on site

Tick checks, attach photos and raise issues from a phone or tablet, with or without signal.

  4. Sign off

Signature-gated sign-off with password, training certificate and party membership.

  5. Evidence flows on

Documents, gates and the handover package update from the same record.

Tracker

Every asset, every stage, one record

Commissioning tracker with asset list, stage progress and asset properties
Demo projectThe commissioning tracker: every asset with its stage progress, checklists, documents and responsible party.

Issues

Exceptions stay visible

Issue list with forced sign-offs raised automatically as high-severity issues
Demo project17 forced sign-offs, each raised automatically as a high-severity issue, ready for an NCR or BCF export to the BIM team.

In the field

What engineers use every day

Checklists

Shared checklists

One record across every asset that needs it: one result, one completion, no drifting copies.

Tagging

Group tagging checklists

When a customer wants fewer taggable assets, one shared checklist per stage is marked as the tagging one: complete it, and one signature signs off every asset under it — every check still recorded per asset, a raised issue excusing any gap.

Mobile

Offline field app

The project is cached on the device. Work continues without signal, and edits merge on reconnect without overwriting anyone else's work.

Safety

Deliberately no sign-off on mobile

Sign-off needs a live credential check that a weak site connection cannot guarantee, so it stays on the desktop.

Bypass

Forced, but never hidden

When site reality demands it, a stage can be force-signed. Every bypass automatically raises an issue, so the exception stays on the record until it is closed.

Energisation

Energisation & cascade

Switch mains and control per asset and watch the effect cascade downstream; find power issues and blockers with one click.

Logic

Cx logic diagrams

Package-to-package logic generated from the real topology and checklist state, plus an execution-order view that follows the scheduler.

Data

Excel in and out

Import and export assets, connections, mappings and checklists with ready templates, at template or per-asset level.

Walkdowns

Take the model onto site, or into VR

  • Stage colours everywhere

Canvas, 3D and VR show each asset in its current commissioning stage.

  • Issues from the headset

Read issues, comment, tag colleagues and change status inside VR.

  • Ask Dirac on the spot

“What is the status of XFMR P?” returns stage, checklist and document progress, party and open issues.
