Dirac ConsultingMassive Dynamic commissioning platform

Services

Commissioning, delivered from your documents.

Dirac Consulting is a commissioning practice. Massive Dynamic is the platform we built to do the work properly; the services below are how a project actually gets it.

Modelling

Facility from documentation

What we need. Single-line diagrams, P&IDs, equipment schedules, layout or room drawings, and any existing tracker, schedule or IFC model. PDF is fine; native files are better.

What we do. We model every asset, room and connection on every layer in Massive Dynamic, assign equipment types from a library of over 100 (each with its own checklists and documentation requirements), place elevated platforms and rooms, and review the result against your single-line with your engineer before anything else is built on it.

  • Your vocabulary

Commissioning levels or CQV stages, your parties and their labels, your gates.

  • Real geometry where it exists

IFC and equipment models are placed on the same model; placeholders hide where real geometry matches.

  • Reviewed, not assumed

Redundant feeds, control power, auxiliary circuits and out-of-scope sources are confirmed with you, not guessed.

Planning

Sequence & milestone projection

  • Derived sequence

Predecessors come from the design itself — OR for redundant feeds, AND for single paths, control before mains — never typed in.

  • Milestones on the computed plan

Your contractual milestones placed on the derived schedule, with live requirement progress and blockers per milestone. Dirac also proposes milestones from the plan.

  • Honest dates

Target dates checked for achievability: “not achievable, the critical path is too long” is a different answer from “late because of capacity”, and you get the right one.

  • Deadlocks before site

Circular dependencies are found in planning, with the temporary source that breaks them.

The projection is delivered as the live schedule in Massive Dynamic, as XLSX, and as a single self-contained HTML animation any client can open without a login, watching the plant come online day by day.

When site reality changes, the plan is re-derived — it never drifts from the design.

In the app

Execution

Commissioning support, on site or remote

On site

Field execution

Our engineers run checklists, photos, issues and sign-off on the same model, on site with the offline field app or remotely.

Tagging

Fewer sign-offs when the customer wants them

Where a client asks for fewer taggable assets, we set up shared checklists and group tagging checklists: one completed checklist signs off every asset under it, with every check still recorded per asset.

Reporting

Management view kept current

Gates, exposure, milestones, critical chains and handover readiness computed from what the field records — no weekly status deck.

Quality

Issues, NCRs and BCF

Issues with photos and mentions, NCRs in one click, BCF import and export for the BIM coordination team.

Close-out

Handover

Readiness tracked from day one; the handover package exported in one click when the board goes green.

Remote

Remote review

Live status, walkthroughs and sign-off from the project office or the client's head office.

Sign-off is signature-gated: password, training certificate and party membership. A forced sign-off is allowed only openly — reason required, issue raised automatically.

Pharma

CQV documentation from the evidence

For GMP facilities we run the project in CQV vocabulary — URS, DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ — and generate the qualification documents from the live tracker state with an e-signature, as .docx and print-ready PDF. Nothing is retyped, and every change sits in an insert-only audit trail designed around 21 CFR Part 11 expectations.

VR

Review sessions in a headset

A VR review is the fastest way a stakeholder understands a plant: walking past a switchgear line and seeing which panels are proven needs no explanation. We bring the headset, or you use your own Meta Quest 3 — the app runs in its browser, nothing to install.

Inside the headset: stage colours on every asset, the site board with blockers, gates and activity, the selected asset’s checklists, documents and issues, and the schedule scrubbed day by day.

Setup

Your own platform

Instance

Dedicated instance

Your own deployment and database, your domain, your users — enforced in the application and again in the database.

Templates

Your equipment types & templates

Checklists and documentation requirements per equipment type, adapted to your specifications and locked per project where needed.

Onboarding

Template projects and live demos per account

Every approved account starts with a 2N data center and a GMP facility to explore — model, checklists, gates and schedule included — plus two live demo projects shared with every other account and reset each night.

People

Training

Field engineers, project managers and QA trained on the parts they use, with the manuals open to everyone.

Engagement

How we work

Start small. One system, one building or one package is enough to judge the approach on your own plant. The model, the sequence and the milestone projection for that scope are the first deliverable.

Modest claims. We do not quote savings in advance. What we see is less time chasing status, fewer repeated tests and an earlier, cleaner handover — and a pilot gives you your own numbers.

  • Fixed scope, written down

Systems in scope, documents expected, deliverables and review points agreed before we start.

  • Your data stays yours

Exports to XLSX, IFC, OBJ, COBie, BCF and HTML at any time. Optional AI tiers can be switched off per project.

  • Professional engineering
